Our state-of-the-art technologies ensure accuracy, efficiency, and comfort. Our dental equipment is safe, effective, and well-maintained. Some of our dental technologies include those listed below:
The intra-oral camera is about the size and shape of a pen. It is used to record images of your teeth, gums, mouth, and tongue from inside your mouth. Due to its small size and sleek design, it is comfortable, easy to use, and able to view a wide range of angles. The intra-oral camera is a safe and effective tool that can be used with patients of every age.
The intra-oral camera is a highly valuable resource for both diagnosis and treatment planning. Each time we use the intra-oral camera, a new disposable cover is employed. This ensures your health and safety at all times. After your exam, images captured by the intra-oral camera may be digitally stored, printed out, or deleted.
The Invisalign® process uses a fully customized treatment plan for your individual needs. First, we will take X-rays, photographs, and impressions of your teeth. Next, we will use these images to create a digital 3D model of your mouth and teeth. We will map out the precise movements of each tooth to reach its proper placement and angle.
Once we have created your personalized plan, we can use the Invisalign® technology to show how your teeth will look during each stage of your treatment. We fabricate a series of clear aligners designed to fit exactly to your teeth. These aligners will guide your teeth to gently shift over time into their proper positions.
You can remove the aligners for meals and dental hygiene, but you should wear them at all other times for best results.
Rotary Endodontics Handpiece
A rotary endodontics handpiece is a tool designed to be used in root canal therapy. By using this handpiece, we can complete the treatment gently and efficiently. This allows you to have a quicker and more comfortable treatment experience.
Soft Tissue Lasers
With soft tissue lasers at our disposal, Dr. Finley can provide precise high-quality treatments that are relatively pain-free, less invasive, and useful for a wide variety of dental treatments.
A laser is essentially a tiny beam of highly concentrated light. This beam can be used to provide pinpoint accuracy in treatments. Because the laser sterilizes the tissues and seals off blood vessels as it is used, the chance of infection or bleeding following laser treatment is minimal. The soft tissue laser is minimally-invasive but highly effective.
With the highly versatile soft tissue laser, our Los Angeles dentist can seal nerve endings and blood vessels and treat soft tissues simultaneously. This creates less stress on the gums, which significantly reduces both swelling and bleeding. Moreover, by using the soft tissue laser, Dr. Finley minimizes patients’ discomfort both during and after the treatment and lessen their recovery time.
Dr. Finley uses soft tissue laser technology to provide our patients with precise dental care with a comfortable dental experience.
